The National Law University (NLUD) is situated in Sector 14 of Dwarka, New Delhi and is one of the national law schools in India which is built on the five-year law degree model which was proposed and implemented by the Bar Council of India. It started in 2008 and was inaugurated by the then President of India, Prathiba Patil. In a recent survey conducted by 'The Week' it was ranked at the 19th spot among law colleges in India.
